WHAT I DO
When purchasing a firearm online you will be required to have a receiving FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer, that's what I am here for. I will exchange information with the seller, receive the item and then give you a call to setup an appointment for the transfer. You do not need to call me to confirm its okay to select me as a receiving FFL.
Must be 18+ to receive a LONG GUN.
Must be 21+ to receive a HANDGUN.
Must be 21+ to receive a FRAME, LOWER or RECEIVER even if it is meant to become a rifle.

Buyers between the ages of 18-20 will be automatically delayed.

THE PROCESS
Please read below, this process has worked for years and makes everything run smoothly.
Find a firearm online.
Order the firearm and select Miles of Firearms as your FFL during the checkout.
No need to call me to confirm if I will receive the order. I am happy too.
If my FFL is not on file with the seller, email MilesOfFirearms@gmail.com with THE ORDER NUMBER and THE SELLERS EMAIL.
The seller will ship the item to me once they have received my FFL. I do not know when they will ship the item, nor do sellers send me tracking numbers.
Please do not email or text me the shipping information or updates.
When the item arrives and has been inventoried I WILL CALL YOU
to setup an appointment time for the transfer. Most calls are made the day the item arrives, but please allow for 2 business days.
Please do not call or text to try setup an appointment prior to receiving a call that the item has been received and inventoried.
If it has been 3+ business days and you haven't heard from me, but tracking says the item has arrived please call me. The seller didn't put your contact info in the box. Frustratingly, this does happen occasionally.
Please come to your appointment ON TIME at 10150 Lantern Road Ste. 250 Fishers, IN and ring the doorbell that says "ONLY PRESS FOR MILES" on the suite door of Mattingly Companies.
Missed appointments are charged $40 in addition to the transfer fee. If I miss our appointment your transfer is free. I value your time, please value mine.
Please bring $40 CASH per firearm as I do not take card.
Please bring VALID, UNEXPIRED, INDIANA PHOTO ID, WITH YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS.
During the appointment you will fill out the Form 4473 for the background check.
I will run the background check through the FBI and receive 1 of 3 responses.
The responses come from the FBI NICS system as follows: Proceed, Delayed, Denied.

I have been charged with and/or convicted of (insert legal issue here), can you tell me over the phone if I can purchase a firearm or not? NO
I am not a veteran/LEO, but (insert family/friend here) is, can I have a free transfer? NO
How long does it take to be notified after my firearm has delivered? Mon-Thurs: Typically that day, but 2 business days to give me some breathing room. Fridays: the following business day
Can you check if a firearm has been stolen? NO, a public system like that is to much common sense for the federal government.
Can I get a license to carry a handgun through you? NO, that is done through the Indiana State Police.
What kind of dog is that? Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier
Can individual sellers not holding an FFL ship firearms to Miles of Firearms across state lines as long as they are following federal and state law? YES, but please reach out prior to doing so.
I have not checked the website so I dont know where to go. Is it appropriate to start knocking on suite doors interrupting other businesses looking for Miles of Firearms? NO
Do I need to make an appointment to sell a firearm? YES
I have a family member that has passed and has a collection of firearms would you come to their house to look them over? YES, and sorry for your loss.

COMPANY POLICIES
1.) FREE first firearm transfer for: Active Military, Veterans, active LEO's and active Firefighters. Thank you for your service!
2.) If you barred from owning a firearm and attempt to have a firearm transferred to yourself and are rightfully DENIED , the item(s) will become property of Miles of Firearms LLC. The barred person will receive no compensation for the item(s) value and the item(s) ownership and any value held is transferred to Miles of Firearms LLC. Miles of Firearms LLC may disposition the firearm at their discretion. When selecting Miles of Firearms LLC as your receiving FFL you willing submit to these terms and conditions. Keeping firearms out of the hands of those who are legally barred from owning them is a job I take very serious.

3.) Clients have 3 weeks to retrieve items from the date they are contacted that the item has been received. Each additional week will incur a $30 storage fee. Items not retrieved within 60 days will become property of Miles of Firearms LLC and the purchaser will receive no compensation for the item(s) value and any value held is transferred to Miles of Firearms LLC. Miles of Firearms LLC may disposition the firearm at their discretion. When selecting Miles of Firearms LLC as your receiving FFL you willing submit to these terms and conditions.

4.) Missed appointments incur a $40 missed appointment fee.
